Ir. Dr. Ho Pui Tak graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1977 and is now Deputy Director of the Computer Centre of the University of Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in IT applications and systems for teaching, learning, research and administration in higher education institutions, as well as in industrial system control and automation. For more than two decades, he has been an enthusiastic promoter of IT Professionalism and the status of IT Professionals in Hong Kong, through fostering local and international collaborations among organizations in the academia, industry, government and professional sectors. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the British Computer Society and Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE).
