Born in Hong Kong, Mr. John Chiu was graduated in Bachelor of Science in University of Queensland, and thereafter he had obtained a Post Graduate Diploma of Computer Studies in University of Newscastle (Australia). John Chiu is the founder and Managing Director of AT Group Limited in Hong Kong.

John Chiu has also dedicated his time and resources working closely with the government for the prosperity of the Wireless and Information Communication Technology (ICT) industry. Currently, Mr. Chiu is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Hong Kong Wireless Development Centre. Mr. Chiu is also a member of the Digital 21 Strategy Advisory Committee and a member of the Hong Kong TDC ICT services Advisory Committee.

Mr. John Chiu also has good relation with many countries consulates and trade commissioners, the commercial and professional ICT and non-ICT associations in China and overseas countries, and education and research institutes etc. He is currently the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) and Call Centre Association respectively. In the last few years, Mr. Chiu promote the awareness, use, standards, co-operation and convergence of wireless applications for different Industries in Hong Kong, thus helping Hong Kong to become a leading Wireless, Digital City in the world and stimulate the continue development and growth of the Wireless & ICT. Mr. Chiu also promotes the companies of Hong Kong to co-operate with Wireless & ICT companies in China and overseas. Through his participation, the revenue and job opportunities of the Wireless and ICT Industry in Hong Kong have been increase.

Mr. John Chiu will continue to serve and safeguard the Wireless & ICT Industry development and growth in Hong Kong through his participation of the 2006 Election Committee!!
