Mr. Kan has always
been an advocate for promoting Hong Kong to become a
centre of Information Technology. With his long experience
in the IT industry, Mr. Kan has been very active in
promoting Hong Kong. Specifically in the last 17 years,
he has received and met over 1000 overseas delegations,
mainly IT and trade related, from UK, USA, France, Germany,
Israel, Sweden, India, Malaysia, Brazil, Japan, Taiwan,
Egypt, Kuwait, Denmark, Austria, Ireland, South Korea,
and China. He also participated in many trade visits;
