Peter Wong is a key driver of telecommunications development in Hong Kong. Over the years, he has not only helped to steer the industry to where it is today, he has also made a significant contribution to many of Hong Kong’s major telecommunications milestones. He has been active in facilitating effective collaboration between operators and the business and regulatory sectors, in addition to also promoting public awareness of the economic and social benefits brought about by Hong Kong’s efficient and effective telecommunications services.

Peter was a member of the Information Technology Sub-sector in the Election Committee from 2000 to 2005, playing an active role on the Committee during this time. An active member of the telecommunications industry, he has been heavily involved in promoting the exchange of views among members, while also participating in the debate on industry issues. He has also played a key role in driving coherent collaboration among concerned industry players to ensure that industry views are heard.

Aged 57, he is married with one son.
