Ringo started his IT career as a programmer 26 years ago. In the last 20 years, Ringo has been provided IT
consulting and system development services to a large number of clients both in Hong Kong and in PRC.
Ringo found the IT services subsidiary of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in Hong Kong, Insight Computer
Consultants Limited, in 1987.
Ringo is highly regard and recognized by prominent figures in the IT community. He is actively involved in
promoting the IT industry, and has made great contributions to the local IT community. He is one of the
promoters and currently the President of the Joint Council of Hong Kong IT Organizations, which has been
successfully lobbied for the IT as a functional constituency in the Legislative Council in 1997.
In the last 5 years, Ringo is focusing in promoting collaboration between Hong Kong and Mainland China in
software industry and he is one of the first to bring out why CEPA does not have IT element in its first release. Currently, Ringo is lobbying for 400 IT youth in Hong Kong to participate in 2008 Beijing Olympic as
volunteers.
